Join Anastasia at her Berkeley ceramic studio to create a dutch oven or casserole for your kitchen!
We'll be making your dutch ovens and casseroles using special oven-safe clay utilizing hand building moulds, formers, and templates. The workshop will begin with a demonstration, and the rest of the time will be spend making! You will have several gorgeous flameware safe glazes to choose from for your piece, which will be glazed for you after the workshop has ended. Your work will be ready for pickup 1-2 weeks after the workshop’s end.
What’s Included
— Hands on instruction in a bright and clean ceramic studio
— Hand tools, sponges, molds, formers, banding wheels, plaster molds, textures, and other hand building tools provided
— Choice of several gorgeous glazes to finish your pieces with
— Make as many pieces as you like in the workshop time
— Firing service (bisque and glaze)
Bring to Class
— Clothes you don’t mind getting dirty
— Closed toed shoes
— Two or more project ideas. Pinterest and found images welcome!
Cancellations
All sales are final. No cancellations, returns, or refunds will be granted. You may find a friend to substitute your spot in class. Please handle the payment privately, and send new student contact information to art@anastasiatumanova.com to complete the exchange.
Please note a minimum of 5 people is required for this class to run. If you’ve enrolled and we don’t reach the minimum you will be issued a full refund.
Student Agreement
You’ll be provided a digital liability waiver and student agreement to review before class, I collect signatures at the start of the workshop. Nothing out of the ordinary, just your usual "be a good citizen" stuff.
