Ceramic Ornaments Workshop 3-Hour Workshop | Sat, Dec 7th, 12-3pm

Join Anastasia at her sunny Strawberry Creek Berkeley studio to make your holiday tree ornaments! This workshop is a great way to create festive decor for your home, make friends, and dip your toe into working in clay.
We'll be making decorative ornaments for your tree or home, using three simple ceramic hand building methods: coil, pinch, and slab. The workshop will begin with a short demo of hand building techniques, and the rest of the time will be spend creating! Students will have a choice of several gorgeous glazes for their ornaments, which will be glazed for you after the workshop has ended. Pieces will be ready for pickup the following weekend.
What’s Included
— Hands on instruction in a bright and clean ceramic studio
— Lovely social vibe with other like minded creatives
— Hand tools, sponges, molds, formers, banding wheels, plaster molds, textures, and other hand building tools provided
— A choice of several gorgeous glazes to finish your pieces with
— 4Ibs of clay per student
— Kiln firings (bisque and glaze)
Bring to Class
— Clothes you don’t mind getting dirty (or an apron)
— Closed toed shoes
— Two or more project ideas. Pinterest and found images welcome!
Cancellations
All sales are final. No cancellations, returns, or refunds will be granted. You may find a friend to substitute your spot in class. Please handle the payment privately, and send new student contact information to art@anastasiatumanova.com to complete the exchange. Please note a minimum of 5 people is required for this class to run. If you’ve enrolled and we don’t reach the minimum you will be issued a full refund.
Student Agreement
You’ll be provided a standard waiver and student agreement to sign digitally or at the start of class, which go over studio policies and protocols. Nothing out of the ordinary, just your usual "be a good studio citizen" stuff!
Please note my studio is not wheelchair accessible, there is a cobblestone path and one flight of stairs into my studio.
